Passes (also known as class passes or membership cards) are the foundation of your booking system's payment structure. They allow customers to prepay for a set number of classes or points, which they can then use to book sessions. This guide walks you through creating new passes, configuring activation settings, and understanding how pass binding works to control which classes customers can access.

When your business is closed for holidays, renovations, or other reasons, you can extend all customer pass expiration dates so they don't lose time on their passes. You can also temporarily suspend bookings to prevent new reservations during closure periods. This ensures customers aren't penalized when they can't use your services.

Use Transfer when pass balance must move from one customer to another customer. Customer A keeps the original sales record, while Customer B receives a linked transferred pass with a sales price of $0 and the same unit value. You can transfer all or part of the remaining classes or points.Do not use Transfer to reconcile two passes owned by the same customer. Use Rollover to preserve both purchases, or Merge Duplicate Passes when one record was added by mistake.
