Choose your booking type
Suggested reservation type: Appointments. Therapist-led one-to-one sessions with pool zones as equipment and changing-room buffers are appointment-service territory.
Set it under Settings → Configuration → Reservation type: tick Appointments and leave the other boxes off. The choice is saved for the selected location.
Create your services
Start with these:
- Hydrotherapy session — 45 minutes, price 1600
A single appointment service; the open buffer covers changing in, the close buffer changing out and drying the zone.
An appointment service is a class with Open for appointments switched on, edited at /admin/appointments/classes/:classId. In its Settings pill start from: default duration 45 minutes, Time frame 30 min, Buffer time - Open 10 min, Buffer time - Close 15 min, and Working Hours matching your opening hours. Connect staff to the service at /admin/appointments/connect and set each person's hours at /admin/appointments/instructors/:customerId.
Set the booking flow
Under /admin/appointments/settings → Booking flow, order the steps Classes → Instructors → Date:
- Classes: Enabled + Required
- Instructors: Enabled (not Required)
- Date: Enabled + Required
Patients pick the session first, then may pick a therapist — the step is enabled but optional so a referral patient can book a first slot without knowing the team.
Passes and payment
Create these under /admin/passes (a visit pack is a number of visits plus validity days; a membership is a duration):
- Therapy 8 — visit pack, 8 visits, valid 120 days, price 12000
The card suits a rehabilitation plan of weekly sessions; the first visit is paid per visit.
Cancellation window: under Settings → Reservation allow customer cancellation with a cutoff of 24 hours before the start (the field takes minutes, so enter 1440).
Customers and features
Dependents: Turn dependents on under Settings → Customer so a carer books sessions for a child or parent from one account.
Custom features to switch on at /admin/custom-features (each uses a feature point):
- Customer Messaging — lets therapists message carers about progress.
- Automated Reminders & Notifications — reminds carers the day before each session.
- Announcements — posts pool maintenance closures.
- Equipment — caps bookings at the number of pool zones.

Do it with the assistant
