Choose your booking type
Suggested reservation type: Classes. Timetable classes with class packs and unlimited memberships are the whole business, and instructor pay is calculated per class — a Classes setup.
Set it under Settings → Configuration → Reservation type: tick Classes and leave the other boxes off. The choice is saved for the selected location.
Create your classes
Start with these:
- Hatha Yoga — 60 minutes, price 500
- Aerial — 75 minutes, price 700
Both are group classes scheduled on the calendar. If a teacher offers privates, create one more class with Open for appointments on and start from the defaults below.
Classes are created once and then scheduled from the Calendar; prices here are per visit.
An appointment service is a class with Open for appointments switched on, edited at /admin/appointments/classes/:classId. In its Settings pill start from: default duration 60 minutes, Time frame 30 min, Buffer time - Open 0 min, Buffer time - Close 0 min, and Working Hours matching your opening hours. Connect staff to the service at /admin/appointments/connect and set each person's hours at /admin/appointments/instructors/:customerId.
Schedule your timetable
Schedule group classes from the Calendar as one-off, recurring or course (enrol for the whole series). Schedule Hatha Yoga and Aerial as recurring weekly classes from the Calendar; use a one-off class for workshops and a course for a beginners series. Switch the waiting list on for Aerial, where hammocks cap the room.
If you add a private service, set its flow under Booking flow:
Under /admin/appointments/settings → Booking flow, order the steps Instructors → Date:
- Instructors: Enabled + Required
- Date: Enabled + Required
- Classes: disabled — the customer never sees this step
Privates are teacher-led: the student picks the teacher, then a date; the Classes step is disabled so the student never has to choose a service — the teacher's private session is the only option.
Passes and payment
Create these under /admin/passes (a visit pack is a number of visits plus validity days; a membership is a duration):
- 10-class pack — visit pack, 10 visits, valid 90 days, price 4500
- Monthly unlimited — membership, 30 days, price 3200
The pack suits weekly students, the unlimited the daily practitioners; both deduct automatically at booking.
Cancellation window: under Settings → Reservation allow customer cancellation with a cutoff of 12 hours before the start (the field takes minutes, so enter 720).
Customers and features
Dependents: Dependents stay off — students book under their own accounts.
Custom features to switch on at /admin/custom-features (each uses a feature point):
- Branded App — puts the timetable on every student's phone.
- Instructor Pay Calculations — pays teachers per class with headcount-based formulas.
- Reporting & Business Insights — shows which classes fill and which teachers retain students.
- Automated Waitlists — fills Aerial hammocks released by cancellations.

Do it with the assistant
