Choose your booking type
Suggested reservation type: Classes + Appointments. Pool sessions are long group classes while private coaching is one-to-one, waivers are signed before the first dive, and wetsuits and lanes are hired — so Classes and Appointments are both on.
Tick Classes and Appointments under Settings → Configuration → Reservation type. Using more than one booking type needs the All bookings custom feature (switch it on at /admin/custom-features); the same three checkboxes then also appear under Custom Features → All bookings. The choice is saved for the selected location.
Create your classes and services
Start with these:
- Pool training — 120 minutes, price 2000
- Private coaching — 90 minutes, price 3500
Pool training is a timetable class; Private coaching is the same class type with Open for appointments on. The long time frame and buffers on both sides cover kitting up and debriefing.
Classes are created once and then scheduled from the Calendar; prices here are per visit.
An appointment service is a class with Open for appointments switched on, edited at /admin/appointments/classes/:classId. In its Settings pill start from: default duration 120 minutes, Time frame 60 min, Buffer time - Open 15 min, Buffer time - Close 15 min, and Working Hours matching your opening hours. Connect staff to the service at /admin/appointments/connect and set each person's hours at /admin/appointments/instructors/:customerId.
Schedule your timetable and set the booking flow
Schedule group classes from the Calendar as one-off, recurring or course (enrol for the whole series). Schedule Pool training as recurring evening classes from the Calendar, with a course for a certification series.
For the appointment services:
Under /admin/appointments/settings → Booking flow, order the steps Instructors → Date:
- Instructors: Enabled + Required
- Date: Enabled + Required
- Classes: disabled — the customer never sees this step
Coaching is coach-led: the diver picks the coach, then a date; the Classes step is disabled because each coach offers one private coaching service.
Passes and payment
Create these under /admin/passes (a visit pack is a number of visits plus validity days; a membership is a duration):
- Pool 5 — visit pack, 5 visits, valid 90 days, price 9000
The pack covers a block of pool sessions; private coaching is paid per visit. The long cancellation window protects lane bookings made days ahead.
Cancellation window: under Settings → Reservation allow customer cancellation with a cutoff of 48 hours before the start (the field takes minutes, so enter 2880).
Customers and features
Dependents: Dependents stay off — every diver signs for themselves.
Custom features to switch on at /admin/custom-features (each uses a feature point):
- Courses & Class Series — sells a certification course as one enrolment.
- Online Classes — runs the theory module online before the pool.
- Automated Reminders & Notifications — reminds divers of the no-eating rule the day before.
- Digital Waivers & Agreements — is signed before the first dive.

Do it with the assistant
