What this controls
Weekly availability defines the recurring opening windows in which an instructor may accept appointments — for example "Mondays 9:00–13:00 and 15:00–18:00". It is not a confirmed booking or a promise that every generated start time remains free.
The customer-facing appointment picker slices these windows by the appointment service's booking interval, then removes times blocked by the instructor's group classes, existing appointments, service duration and buffers, closures, and date-specific overrides. A group class inside a weekly opening window therefore does not create a double-booking: that overlapping appointment time is simply not offered.
How to set availability
- Go to Admin → Appointments → Instructors and open the instructor.
- Under Working hours, tap each weekday tab in turn.
- Toggle the day on, then add one or more time slots (start time → end time).
- Use the copy/paste action to duplicate a slot across multiple days if your schedule repeats.
- Save.
Validation rules
Time slots cannot overlap within a day, and each slot must be at least one booking-interval long. The picker enforces these rules at edit time so saved availability is always consistent.
