Mark single dates when an instructor is away or works different hours, without touching the weekly schedule.

What this controls

Special dates override an instructor's weekly Working hours on the dates you pick. They cover holidays, training days, single-day absences and one-off changes of hours.

SituationWhat to do
The instructor is away for a daySelect the date and mark it Not Working. No times are offered that day.
Different hours on one daySelect the date and set Working start and end slots. They replace the weekly hours for that day only.
The same change on several datesSelect all the dates first, then set them together.
Back to the normal scheduleSelect the dates and Delete the exception; weekly hours apply again.

Special dates change only the chosen dates; the weekly Working hours stay exactly as they were.

How to block or override a date

  1. Go to Admin → Appointments → Instructors, open the instructor and choose Special dates.
  2. The calendar covers the next six months. Tap one or more dates; colours mark selected dates and existing exceptions.
  3. Choose Not Working to block the whole day, or add Working start and end slots to override its hours.
  4. Tap Save.

Unlike a service's Special dates, this page has no Verify preview. Editing your own dates and another instructor's dates can require different permissions.
