Set the timezone the booking system uses for class schedules, bookings and reports.

What this setting controls

The timezone setting tells your booking system which IANA timezone to use for everything time-related: class start and end times, booking deadlines, report timestamps, and the trigger times for automated notifications. All times displayed to admins, instructors and customers are converted into this timezone before they appear on screen.

How to change the timezone

Go to Admin → Settings → Configuration → Timezone. Select your business timezone from the searchable dropdown — IANA names like Asia/Taipei, America/New_York, or Europe/London. Click Save.

The system also stores a corresponding offset value internally so historical times can be converted accurately.

Auto-detection on first setup

On your first onboarding, the timezone is auto-detected from your browser using the Luxon library and pre-filled. Adjust it before saving if the detected zone is wrong for your business location.

Note: changing the timezone later does not retroactively re-stamp existing bookings — they were created under the previous timezone. Only newly created bookings use the new value.
