What this setting controls
Attendance visibility controls who can see the list of attendees (and how much detail) for each class. You can choose between hiding the list entirely, showing only the number of attendees, showing how many spots are still open, or showing attendee names.
Per-audience matrix
Every business now sets attendance visibility with a per-audience block. The Attendance block has four rows — Staff, customers with an active pass, logged-in customers without an active pass, and unauthenticated visitors — and four visibility levels per row: Hidden, Spots, Count or Names. This gives you granular control such as "names for active customers, count for visitors".
A customer counts towards the customers with an active pass row for as long as a paid pass on their account has not expired — including a pass whose visits or points have all been used up. Once the pass is past its expiration date it no longer counts, and that customer is treated as a logged-in customer without an active pass.
A second Waiting list block, with the same rows and levels, appears underneath the Attendance block only when the Waiting list custom feature is switched on. It controls what each audience sees about who is waiting for a place.
The older single attendee-visibility choice has been replaced by these blocks and is no longer shown.
How to change attendance visibility
Go to Admin → Settings → Calendar and find the Customers see attendance heading. Set a level for each audience in the Attendance block, and in the Waiting list block below it if you use the waiting list, then save. Changes take effect immediately on the customer side.
