What this setting controls
Payment at booking applies to one-off-priced classes and appointment services that inherit the business setting. It does not change existing Pass only classes.
- No payment — confirm the reservation with the full class amount still outstanding.
- Deposit — collect part of the class price now and retain the exact remaining balance.
- Full payment — collect the complete one-off class price before confirmation.
A class can use the business value or, where the development-only Payment section is available, keep its own payment-at-booking value.
How to configure deposit options
When Deposit is selected, choose a percentage or fixed amount.
- A 25% deposit on a $200 booking charges $50 now and leaves $150 outstanding.
- A fixed $25 deposit on the same booking charges $25 now and leaves $175 outstanding.
- A deposit equal to the booking total is valid and leaves no balance.
Deposit required for all customers controls exemptions. If it is off, set the completed-visit threshold after which an existing logged-in customer is exempt. Guest customers cannot use an account's visit history until the guest purchase is claimed by that account.
For a fixed Booking quantity package, the class price and deposit apply once to the whole package; they are not multiplied by the number of places.
How to apply
Go to Admin → Settings → Payment. Choose the location/global scope, select the mode, configure deposit fields when applicable, and save. This page is development-only.
Customers can pay an outstanding class or appointment balance from the basket. The balance remains attached to the original reservation and location, including after one attendee in a linked fixed-quantity package is cancelled.
