What this setting controls
Payment at booking decides whether customers must pay at the moment they book, instead of paying later. Three modes: No payment (book first, pay later), Deposit (pay a portion upfront), and Full payment (pay the entire amount upfront).
How to configure deposit options
When Deposit is selected, additional fields appear: deposit type (percentage or fixed amount) and a "Deposit required for all customers" toggle. If you turn the latter off, you can specify a number of visits after which existing customers no longer have to pay a deposit — useful for rewarding regulars.
How to apply
Go to Admin → Settings → Payment → Payment at booking. Pick the mode, configure deposit fields if applicable, and save. The default is "No payment". This setting is currently marked as in-development; coordinate with support before relying on it in production.
