Equipment units are the individual physical resources inside an equipment item. Use them to track each reformer, bed, court, mat, or table independently.

Add and Reorder Units

Open an equipment item and choose the Units pill. Add units individually or use Set Total to change the total count. Give units clear names such as Reformer 1 or Court A, then use Reorder when allocation priority or customer display order matters.

An equipment item must retain at least one unit. If the final unit should not be used, disable it instead of removing it.

Choose What Customers See

  • Hidden keeps unit names out of the customer experience.
  • Visible shows the auto-assigned unit name after booking; it does not let the customer choose.
  • Selectable allows customer selection where that booking flow supports unit selection.

Private maintenance notes and the complete unassigned unit list are never customer-facing.

Disable a Unit or Schedule Maintenance

  • Active units may be allocated.
  • Disabled units remain recorded but are unavailable.
  • Maintenance units can carry a start date, end date, and private note. Use YYYY-MM-DD dates and ensure the end is not before the start.

Maintenance and disabled units can reduce bookable equipment capacity. Review upcoming classes and appointment sessions after taking a limited resource out of service.
