Courts Customers Can Pick (Group Class)
A badminton centre creates one item per court (Court 1–4), each with capacity 4, assignment Exclusive, and unit display Selectable so players pick their court. The four courts sit in a Customer Choice group linked to the class services.
For a "Single Player" class service, an item override switches the court to Shared, so up to four strangers share one court. The same physical courts stay Exclusive for the Doubles and Full-Court services — the override changes behaviour for that one service only.
One Table or Bed per Booking
A restaurant groups mixed-size tables (2, 4, 6, and 8 seats) as Exclusive items in an Automatic group with Keep Together: Required. One booking takes one table, and the system best-fits the party to the smallest table that holds them — a party larger than every free table cannot be seated.
A massage spa (an appointment service) creates treatment beds as capacity 1, Exclusive items — one client per bed. Book two of four beds and two remain; when all four are in use the appointment slot is unavailable.
Rental Add-ons and Appointment Stations
Rental items — racket, mat, towel — are Standalone, Optional equipment linked directly to the class or appointment service. Because they are optional, running out never blocks the booking; the customer simply cannot add that extra.
A nail salon's "Gel Pedicure" appointment links a Required "Pedicure Station" (its six stations cap how many pedicures can run at once) plus an Optional "Nail Polish Set." This mixes a required capacity constraint with an optional add-on on a single appointment service.
