Cancellation penalty

Charge customers a penalty when they cancel after the cancellation deadline.

What this setting controls

Cancellation with penalty lets customers cancel after the normal cancellation window has closed, but charges a penalty. Three penalty types are available: Full (charge the full class price), Percentage (charge a % of the class points), or Fixed (charge a fixed number of points).

How to configure

Go to Admin → Settings → Reservation → Cancellation with penalty. Turn the toggle on, then pick the penalty type. For Percentage, pick a value between 0 and 100% in 5% steps. For Fixed, enter the number of points. Save.

What customers see

When the normal cancellation window has passed, the customer sees a second cancel option that displays the penalty amount. They can confirm and the system deducts the penalty from their pass, or back out and keep the booking.
