Show a clear weekly schedule on the home page using per-day sliders and an optional break-time block.

Master toggle: show on home page

The opening hours screen starts with a single master toggle: Show on home page. When this is off, no opening-hours block is rendered at all, no matter what you have configured below. When it is on, the rest of the controls become editable.

This makes it easy to hide the schedule temporarily — for example during renovations or a holiday closure — without losing your existing settings.

Per-day open/close slider

Each weekday from Sunday to Saturday has its own toggle and a dual-knob slider for the open and close times.

  • Labels on the slider are shown in 12-hour format for readability.
  • Values are stored internally in 24-hour HH:MM, in 5-minute steps, across the full 0–1440 minute range.
  • Each day badge shows Open or Closed at a glance.

To mark a day as fully closed, simply switch that day's toggle off — the slider becomes inactive and the badge flips to Closed.

Break time

When the master toggle is on, an additional Break time toggle appears. Switching it on reveals a bilingual description field — typically used for something like We are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 13:00 — that is rendered beneath the weekly schedule on the home page.

This is the recommended place for any closure note that does not fit neatly into the per-day open/close model, such as a single shared lunch break or a recurring cleaning window.
