Change log

Every edit to a location is recorded in a read-only Log tab so you can see who changed what, and when.

Where to find the change log

On each location's edit page there is a tab labelled Log. Open it to see a reverse-chronological list of every edit made to that location's record, with the most recent change at the top.

You do not need any extra permission beyond what is required to view the location itself — if you can see the location, you can see its log.

What gets logged

Each log entry captures three things:

  • Who — the admin who made the change.
  • When — the date and time of the change in your business timezone.
  • What — the specific field that changed, with the previous and new values shown side by side.

Edits to anything on the location record are tracked: name, phone, address, social links, slogan, contact person, home page toggles, opening hours, map coordinates and so on.

Read-only by design

The Log tab is intentionally read-only. There is no edit, undo or delete action on individual entries — that is what makes the log trustworthy as an audit trail.

If you need to reverse a change, do it the normal way on the relevant tab; the reversal will itself appear as a new entry in the log, preserving the full history.
