Why does OmceanBooking provide both “Multiple lacotions” and “Classrooms” features?

Although both features can help manage classes, they are designed for different purposes.

Classroom (Room) is designed to manage different teaching spaces within the same operating location, such as:

• Classroom A
• Classroom B
• Cycling studio
• Aerial yoga room

A classroom usually represents:

• The same address
• The same front desk
• The same operating team
• Members attending classes at the same location

Branch (Location) is designed to manage different business locations, such as:

• Taipei Branch
• Hsinchu Branch
• Taichung Branch

A branch usually represents:

• Different addresses
• Different operating locations
• Different class schedules
• Different instructors or management staff
• Members needing to travel to different locations for classes

Can I use “Classrooms” to represent different locations?

If you only occasionally rent a space, run short-term events, offer pop-up classes, or operate a small satellite location with limited classes, using Classrooms may be suitable.

However, if different locations have become permanent operating locations, we recommend setting them up as Branches to provide a clearer management structure and a better booking experience for members.

Why is it not recommended to use Classrooms to manage multiple permanent locations?

When multiple locations are managed under the same schedule, it may cause the following issues:

• Members need to spend more time finding the correct class location.
• Class schedules become more complicated and reduce booking efficiency.
• Members may accidentally book classes at the wrong location.
• Managing classes and instructors becomes more complex for businesses.
• The system interface may become less clear, affecting the overall user experience.

By creating locations, members can find and book the correct location more easily, while businesses can manage operations more efficiently.

My second location is small. Do I still need to create a Location?

Not necessarily.

We understand that many businesses may start with a small satellite location or only a limited number of classes when they are expanding. Therefore, OmceanBooking provides flexibility based on actual usage.

Our support team will evaluate each situation and provide recommendations based on the business's needs, rather than simply determining based on the number of locations.

What factors does OmceanBooking consider when recommending the use of Multiple Locations?

We consider multiple factors, including:

• Whether the location is a permanent operating location
• Whether it has a different address
• The number of classes and booking volume at the location
• Whether it has its own regular class schedule
• Whether it requires separate management or operational information
• Whether it impacts the member booking experience
• Whether the usage exceeds the intended scope of the current plan

Meeting a single condition does not automatically mean a Branch is required. We evaluate the overall business operation and provide the most suitable recommendation.

What happens if I continue using Classrooms to manage multiple large locations?

If the usage clearly exceeds the original purpose of the Classroom feature, the OmceanBooking support team may proactively discuss a more suitable management approach with you, such as setting up official Branches.

This can improve the member booking experience and increase operational efficiency as the business grows.

Does OmceanBooking have a Fair Use Policy?

Yes.

To maintain a high-quality experience and system stability for all businesses, if an account's usage significantly exceeds the reasonable scope of the current plan, or if system features are being used in ways beyond their original design purpose, OmceanBooking reserves the right to recommend adjusting the management structure or upgrading to a more suitable plan.

Our goal is not to limit how businesses use the system, but to ensure OmceanBooking continues to provide a reliable service, a smooth user experience, and solutions that meet the needs of businesses of different sizes.
