Every Ocean Booking business has a location — learn how single-location and multi-location businesses configure branches, customer pickers, and per-branch calendars.

Why locations matter for every business

Ocean Booking's location system applies to every business, not just those with multiple branches. A location is more than an address — it powers your home page, opening hours, map, and the way customers discover where to book.

Even if you only run one studio, salon, or gym, your single location is what fills in:

  • The home page address and map
  • Opening hours displayed to customers
  • The pin shown when customers search nearby
  • The contact details used in confirmation emails

For businesses with more than one physical branch, the same system unlocks branch-level calendars, passes, and reporting through the Multiple Locations custom feature.

What single-location businesses can configure

If you run a single-location business, you do not need the Multiple Locations custom feature. You still configure your one location through Settings, where you set:

  • Location name and address
  • Opening hours per weekday
  • Phone number and contact email
  • Map coordinates so the map pin lands correctly
  • Cover photo shown on your home page

Your customer-facing URL stays a single, clean link — there is no branch picker shown to customers, and bookings flow directly into your one calendar.

What multi-location businesses unlock

Once you enable the Multiple Locations custom feature, the same booking URL stays unified — customers do not need to remember multiple links. Instead, a branch picker appears so customers can switch between locations before booking.

On the admin side, you can scope per branch:

  • Calendar & appointments — each branch has its own schedule
  • Classes — assign classes to one branch or share them across all
  • Passes — sell single-branch passes or all-access passes that work everywhere
  • Staff permissions — restrict staff to the branches they manage
  • Reports — view revenue per branch or rolled up across all branches

Customer accounts remain unified: a customer registers once and their bookings, purchases, and pass usage are visible across every branch they visit.
