Every day has two bars: a solid bar for the last 7 days and an outlined bar for the matching day in the previous period. Both are drawn to the same scale, so their heights can be compared directly, and each day has a tooltip with the exact dates and values for both periods. Days with no activity sit on the baseline instead of showing a bar, and negative figures such as a loss are drawn below the baseline.
