Why every location needs a contact person

The contact person is the human face attached to a branch. Their name and email address are shown on the customer-facing home page for that location, and the same email is used as the sender on automated emails that originate from this branch — booking confirmations, reminders, pass receipts and so on.

Choosing the right person matters because replies to those automated emails land in that person's inbox.

Choosing who

Only admins can be picked as the contact person — instructors and front-desk staff without admin permissions will not appear in the picker. This ensures the chosen person has enough access to actually respond to customer enquiries that flow through.

If the staff member you want is not in the list, promote them to admin first under Settings → Staff, then come back here and select them.

Where the contact details appear

Once a contact person is selected, two things happen:

  • Their name and email appear in the contact block on the customer-facing per-location home page.
  • Their email becomes the sender (and reply-to) on every automated email tied to this location.

Changing the contact person at any time updates both places immediately — there is no separate switch to flip.
