Add-on items
The pool runs appointment services — the Aquatic therapy session (45 minutes) and the Initial assessment. Create two Standalone items under Appointments → Addons → Items:
- Extra mobility practice — Price 250, Duration 10, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Aquatic therapy session. The therapist stays in the water ten more minutes; the hold becomes 55 minutes and the fee is charged once.
- Hydro-resistance gloves — Price 350, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, Classes: Aquatic therapy session and Initial assessment. Each client keeps their own pair, so Per Person charges one per attendee.
An add-on group
Some clients need help getting into the water, but only one kind at a time, so use a Single (Optional) group. Create Hoist transfer (Price 200), Pool-side carer (Price 150) and One-to-one spotter (Price 400), all Duration 0 and Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Assistance, Selection Mode Single (Optional) so independent clients pick None, Scope Per Booking, Classes: Aquatic therapy session and Initial assessment.
An add-on service
A Dry-land physio review is a 20-minute appointment service in the treatment room, so it is an add-on class. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Aquatic therapy session, Addon Class Dry-land physio review, Scheduling Sequential, Use Buffer Times on — the session's close buffer gives the client time to change before the review. Leave the overrides blank. The slot is offered only when the therapist is free for the session, the buffer and the review in a row.
What the customer sees
A carer books an Aquatic therapy session for 2 attendees (a couple attending together). The summary shows the Extra mobility practice and Hydro-resistance gloves tick boxes, the Assistance block (Hoist transfer, Pool-side carer, One-to-one spotter, None) and the Dry-land physio review as configured. Gloves adds 2 × 350 because it is Per Person; Hoist transfer adds 200 once. Ticking Extra mobility practice adds 250 and lengthens the hold from 45 to 55 minutes, so a time right before the next client is not offered. Assistance is Single (Optional), so confirming does not wait on it.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add Wheelchair ramp entry to Assistance — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
- Raise One-to-one spotter to 450 — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the Winter Warm-water pass item — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Extra mobility practice on the Initial assessment — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
