What an add-on is
An add-on is an optional or required extra service customers can attach to an appointment — for example, an equipment rental, a longer session, or a takeaway item. Each add-on has a name, description and price, and is created independently before being attached to an appointment service.
Step-by-step: create and attach an add-on
- Go to Admin → Appointments → Add-ons → Items.
- Click New and fill in name, description and price.
- Click Save.
- Go to Admin → Appointments → Classes and open the service you want to add the add-on to.
- In Settings → Add-ons, pick the new add-on from the multi-select picker.
- Save.
How customers see the add-on
Once attached, add-ons appear on the reservation confirmation screen at the end of the customer booking flow. Customers tick or pick the add-ons they want before confirming. Add-on cost is added to the total.
