Guided breathing and a herbal patch pack on treatments, an optional heat-therapy choice, and a tuina massage booked after the needles with room-reset buffers.

Add-on items

The clinic's appointment services are Acupuncture treatment (45 minutes), Initial consultation and Tuina massage (30 minutes). Two Standalone items under Appointments → Addons → Items:

  • Guided breathing — Price 200, Duration 10, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Acupuncture treatment. The practitioner guides ten minutes of breathing while the needles rest; the hold becomes 55 minutes and the fee is charged once.
  • Herbal patch pack — Price 350, Duration 0, Scope Per Booking, Standalone, Classes: Acupuncture treatment and Initial consultation. A product sent home with the patient; no extra minutes.

An add-on group

Patients may add one heat therapy per treatment, so use a Single (Optional) group. Create Moxibustion (Price 300, Duration 10), Cupping (Price 300, Duration 10) and Infrared lamp (Price 200, Duration 0), all Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Heat therapy, Selection Mode Single (Optional), Scope Per Booking — an acupuncture booking is always one patient — Classes: Acupuncture treatment. Moxibustion and Cupping each add 10 minutes to the hold; the lamp runs while the needles rest and adds none.

An add-on service

The Tuina massage is a 30-minute appointment service of its own, so offering it after acupuncture is an add-on class. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Acupuncture treatment, Addon Class Tuina massage, Scheduling Sequential, Use Buffer Times on — the treatment's close buffer covers needle disposal and resetting the couch before the massage. Leave the overrides blank. The time is offered only when the practitioner is free for treatment, buffer and massage in a row.

What the customer sees

A patient books an Acupuncture treatment. The summary shows the Guided breathing and Herbal patch pack tick boxes, the Heat therapy block (Moxibustion, Cupping, Infrared lamp, None) and the Tuina massage as configured. Choosing Cupping adds 300 and 10 minutes; ticking Guided breathing adds 200 and another 10, so the 45-minute hold becomes 65 minutes and a slot before the next patient may disappear. Heat therapy is Single (Optional), so confirming does not wait on it. If a parent books for 2 attendees, every Per Booking price here is still charged once — had the clinic chosen Per Person, each line would double.

Changing add-ons later

Most common edits:

  • Add Gua sha to Heat therapy — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
  • Raise Moxibustion to 350 — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
  • Archive the Winter Warming-herb pack — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
  • Offer Guided breathing on the Initial consultation too — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.

You can also ask the assistant to make any of these changes.
