Add-on items
Timetabled group classes cannot carry add-ons — they apply to appointment services only — so the examples use the Private yoga session, the Private dance lesson (both 60 minutes) and the Choreography session. Two Standalone items:
- Extra 30 minutes — Price 450, Duration 30, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: all three. The studio and teacher are held for 90 minutes; the fee is charged once.
- Mat hire — Price 50, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, Classes: Private yoga session. Each attendee needs a mat, so the price multiplies by the number of people.
An add-on group
Choreography clients mix and match extras, so use a Multiple group. Create Video recording (Price 300), Custom playlist edit (Price 150) and Mirror-wall studio (Price 200), all Duration 0 and Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Music & recording, Selection Mode Multiple, Scope Per Booking — one recording covers the whole couple — Classes: Choreography session and Private dance lesson. Customers may tick none, one or all three.
An add-on service
A Stretch & cool-down is a 15-minute appointment service of its own, so link it under Addons → Classes: Main Class Private dance lesson, Addon Class Stretch & cool-down, Scheduling Sequential with Use Buffer Times off — the same teacher moves straight into the stretch in the same studio. Leave Price and Duration Override blank. Only start times where the teacher and studio are free for the full 75 minutes are offered.
What the customer sees
An engaged couple books a Private dance lesson for 2 attendees. After choosing the time, the summary shows the Extra 30 minutes tick box, the Music & recording block with three tick boxes, and the Stretch & cool-down as configured. Ticking Video recording adds 300 once because the group is Per Booking. Extra 30 minutes adds 450 and lengthens the hold from 60 to 90 minutes, so a slot that runs into the evening group class disappears. On a Private yoga session, Mat hire appears instead and 2 attendees pay 2 × 50. No Single (Required) group exists here, so confirming never waits on a choice.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add Live musician to Music & recording — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
- Raise Video recording to 350 — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the Wedding-season Rehearsal pack — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Mat hire on the Private dance lesson too — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
