Add-on items
Add-ons apply to appointment services — the Court booking (60 minutes) and the Private lesson. Create two Standalone items:
- Extra 30 minutes — Price 400, Duration 30, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Court booking. The court is held for 90 minutes and the fee is charged once however many players share it.
- Can of balls — Price 180, Duration 0, Scope Per Booking, Standalone, Classes: Court booking and Private lesson. One can serves the whole court, so Per Booking is right; Per Person would wrongly charge a doubles group four cans.
An add-on group
Racket hire is a choice per player, so build a group. Create Junior racket (Price 100), Adult racket (Price 150) and Premium racket (Price 250), all Duration 0 and Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Racket hire, Selection Mode Single (Optional) so members who own a racket pick None, Scope Per Person because each hired racket is for one player, Classes: Court booking and Private lesson. Order the members Junior, Adult, Premium.
An add-on service
Match-play practice is a 30-minute appointment service of its own, so link it under Addons → Classes: Main Class Private lesson, Addon Class Match-play practice, Scheduling Sequential. Turn Use Buffer Times on — the lesson's close buffer gives the coach and the next court a few minutes to reset between the two sessions. Leave the overrides blank. The slot is only offered when the coach is free for the lesson, the buffer and the practice together.
What the customer sees
A doubles pair books a Court booking for 2 attendees. The summary lists the Extra 30 minutes and Can of balls tick boxes and the Racket hire block (Junior, Adult, Premium, None). Choosing Adult racket adds 2 × 150 because the group is Per Person; the can adds 180 once. Ticking Extra 30 minutes stretches the hold from 60 to 90 minutes, so only start times with a free 90-minute window remain selectable. No group here is Single (Required), so they can confirm without answering any of them.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add a Left-handed racket — create it as Part of Group, then add it to Racket hire under the group's Addons.
- Change Extra 30 minutes to 450 in peak season — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the summer Ball-machine credit item — it disappears from pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Can of balls on Match-play practice too — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
You can also ask the assistant to make any of these changes.
