An extended private reformer session, grip socks per client, a required session-focus choice, and a postural assessment that follows the session.

Add-on items

Group reformer classes cannot carry add-ons — they apply to appointment services only, so these examples use the Private reformer session (55 minutes) and the Duet session. Create two Standalone items:

  • Extended session — Price 300, Duration 15, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Private reformer session and Duet session. The hold becomes 70 minutes and the fee is charged once for the session.
  • Grip socks — Price 250, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, same classes. In a duet both clients need a pair, so Per Person charges two.

An add-on group

Every private session is programmed around one focus, and the studio prices specialist programming. Create Athletic conditioning (Price 200), Back-care programme (Price 200) and Pre- and post-natal (Price 300), all Duration 0, Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Session focus with Selection Mode Single (Required) — the instructor must know the focus before the client arrives — Scope Per Booking, Classes: Private reformer session. Because it is Required, the booking cannot be confirmed until one focus is chosen.

An add-on service

A Postural assessment is a 20-minute appointment service with its own price, so it is an add-on class rather than an item. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Private reformer session, Addon Class Postural assessment, Scheduling Sequential — the same instructor assesses right after the session while the client is warm — with Use Buffer Times off, since nobody leaves the room. Leave the overrides blank. The slot is only shown when the instructor is free for the full 75 minutes.

What the customer sees

A client books a Duet session for 2 attendees. After picking the time, the summary shows the Extended session and Grip socks tick boxes. Grip socks adds 2 × 250 because it is Per Person; Extended session adds 300 once and lengthens the hold from 55 to 70 minutes, so a time that would overlap the next booking disappears. On a Private reformer session the Session focus block appears too, and because it is Single (Required) the confirm button stays disabled until Athletic conditioning, Back-care programme or Pre- and post-natal is chosen. The Postural assessment appears as the studio configured it.

Changing add-ons later

Most common edits:

  • Add a Rehab after injury focus — create the item as Part of Group, then add it to the Session focus group under Addons.
  • Raise Grip socks to 280 — edit the item on the Items tab.
  • Archive the January Reset pack item — it leaves the pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
  • Offer Extended session on the Postural assessment — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.

You can also ask the assistant to list or change any of these.
