Add-on items
Belt classes on the timetable do not take add-ons — they apply to appointment services only — so these examples use the Private technique session (60 minutes) and the Grading assessment. Two Standalone items:
- Pad-work extension — Price 300, Duration 15, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Private technique session. The coach holds pads for an extra quarter hour; the hold becomes 75 minutes and the fee is charged once.
- Hand wraps — Price 250, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, Classes: Private technique session and Grading assessment. Every student keeps their own pair, so Per Person charges one per attendee.
An add-on group
Students hire whichever protective gear they lack, so use a Multiple group. Create Gloves (Price 100), Shin guards (Price 100) and Headgear (Price 150), all Duration 0 and Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Sparring gear hire, Selection Mode Multiple, Scope Per Person — two students sparring together need two sets — Classes: Private technique session. Order the members Gloves, Shin guards, Headgear.
An add-on service
A Conditioning circuit is a 30-minute appointment service with its own price, so it is an add-on class. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Private technique session, Addon Class Conditioning circuit, Scheduling Sequential, Use Buffer Times on — the technique session's close buffer lets the coach clear the mats before the circuit starts. Leave the overrides blank. The slot is offered only when the coach is free for the session, buffer and circuit together.
What the customer sees
Two training partners book a Private technique session for 2 attendees. The summary shows the Pad-work extension and Hand wraps tick boxes, the Sparring gear hire block with three tick boxes, and the Conditioning circuit as configured. Ticking Hand wraps adds 2 × 250; choosing Gloves and Headgear adds 2 × 250 more, all Per Person. Pad-work extension adds 300 once and lengthens the hold from 60 to 75 minutes, so a start time that would run into the kids' class is no longer offered. Nothing is Single (Required), so the confirm button is enabled straight away.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add a Mouthguard to Sparring gear hire — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
- Raise Hand wraps to 280 — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the Tournament-prep camp item after the season — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Pad-work extension on the Grading assessment — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
You can also ask the assistant; it reads the catalogue and shows each change for approval.
