Add-on items
Certification courses run as group classes and take no add-ons — they apply to appointment services only — so the examples use the Private depth coaching (90 minutes) and the One-to-one equalisation session. Two Standalone items:
- Dive video debrief — Price 500, Duration 15, Scope Per Person, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Private depth coaching. The coach reviews each diver's footage, so the fee is per person and the hold grows to 105 minutes.
- Logbook — Price 300, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, Classes: both. Price only; every diver keeps their own.
An add-on group
Divers hire the gear they do not own, in any combination, so use a Multiple group. Create Wetsuit (Price 300), Long fins (Price 250) and Mask & snorkel (Price 100), all Duration 0 and Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Gear hire, Selection Mode Multiple, Scope Per Person — a buddy pair needs two wetsuits — Classes: Private depth coaching and One-to-one equalisation session. Order the members Wetsuit, Long fins, Mask & snorkel.
An add-on service
A Static breath-hold session is a 30-minute appointment service in the shallow pool, so it is an add-on class. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Private depth coaching, Addon Class Static breath-hold session, Scheduling Sequential, Use Buffer Times on — the depth session's close buffer is the mandatory surface rest before more breath-holds. Leave the overrides blank. The slot is offered only when the coach is free for depth, rest and static in a row.
What the customer sees
A buddy pair books Private depth coaching for 2 attendees. The summary shows the Dive video debrief and Logbook tick boxes, the Gear hire block with three tick boxes, and the Static breath-hold session as configured. Logbook adds 2 × 300 and Wetsuit 2 × 300, both Per Person. Ticking Dive video debrief adds 2 × 500 and lengthens the hold from 90 to 105 minutes, so a slot that ends after the boat leaves is not offered. There is no Single (Required) group, so nothing blocks the confirm button.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add a Weight belt to Gear hire — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
- Raise Wetsuit hire to 350 for the winter 5 mm suits — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the Competition-season Judge briefing item — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Dive video debrief on the equalisation session too — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
You can also ask the assistant to make any of these changes.
