Add-on items
The shop's appointment services are Bath & brush (45 minutes), Full groom and Nail trim (15 minutes). Each attendee on a booking is one dog. Two Standalone items under Appointments → Addons → Items:
- Large dog — Price 200, Duration 10, Scope Per Booking, Linking Mode Standalone, Classes: Bath & brush and Full groom. A big dog takes ten more minutes on the table; the hold becomes 55 minutes.
- Finishing bandana — Price 80, Duration 0, Scope Per Person, Standalone, same classes. One bandana per dog, so a two-dog booking pays twice.
An add-on group
Owners choose at most one coat treatment, so use a Single (Optional) group. Create De-shedding treatment (Price 300, Duration 15), Flea & tick rinse (Price 250, Duration 0) and Conditioning mask (Price 200, Duration 10), all Linking Mode Part of Group. Then create the group Coat care, Selection Mode Single (Optional), Scope Per Person — each dog is treated separately — Classes: Bath & brush and Full groom. De-shedding and the mask each lengthen the appointment by their minutes.
An add-on service
The Nail trim is a 15-minute appointment service on its own, so offering it with a bath is an add-on class. Under Addons → Classes create: Main Class Bath & brush, Addon Class Nail trim, Scheduling Sequential with Use Buffer Times off — the same groomer trims while the dog is still on the table. Leave Price and Duration Override blank to keep the trim's own price and 15 minutes. The time is offered only when the groomer is free for the full 60 minutes.
What the customer sees
An owner books Bath & brush for 2 attendees (two dogs). The summary shows the Large dog and Finishing bandana tick boxes, the Coat care block (De-shedding treatment, Flea & tick rinse, Conditioning mask, None) and the Nail trim as configured. Bandana adds 2 × 80 because it is Per Person; choosing Conditioning mask adds 2 × 200 and 10 minutes. Ticking Large dog adds 200 once and another 10 minutes, so the 45-minute hold becomes 65 and a start time right before the next dog is no longer offered. Coat care is Single (Optional), so confirming does not wait on it.
Changing add-ons later
Most common edits:
- Add a Whitening shampoo to Coat care — create it as Part of Group, then add it under the group's Addons.
- Raise Large dog to 250 — edit the item's Price on the Items tab.
- Archive the Christmas Reindeer bandana — it leaves pickers and new bookings; past bookings keep it.
- Offer Finishing bandana on the Nail trim too — tick the class in the item's Classes pill.
