LINE chats follow the signed-in account, clearer calendar clash warnings, and a limit of five live API keys

Posted by OmceanBooking

This update improves LINE conversations, calendar clash warnings and API keys.

  • A LINE conversation now belongs to the account the customer is signed in as. Logging in, logging out or having an account removed starts a clean conversation instead of continuing with the previous person's details.
  • When a customer logs in on LINE, the chat they had before signing in is carried over, so they do not have to repeat themselves.
  • If a LINE chat loses access to an account part way through, it now recovers by itself and answers the customer's message instead of showing an error.
  • Login, sign-up and logout on LINE keep working even when automatic replies are switched off, so customers can still manage their account while your team answers in person. A logout while replies are off now sends a simple confirmation with no menu buttons.
  • You can now link a LINE follower to a customer record, or unlink one, from your LINE follower list in the admin. The list also shows the customer's name and photo correctly.
  • Calendar clash warnings now tell you whether the room, the instructor, or both are already booked, and repeating classes give the same detail as single classes.
  • Saving a set of course dates now warns you about a clash before any of the dates are created, so you are not left with a half-saved series. Confirming saves the whole set, and re-saving dates you already have does not warn or duplicate them.
  • Each business can now hold up to five live API keys, with a clear message when the limit is reached. Test keys are not limited, and deleting a live key frees a slot.
