Two updates for studios that record family members and for studios running a check-in kiosk.
- Family member fields you control. In your customer settings you can now switch the birthday on or off, add one extra detail field of your own, and mark either of them as required. Name the extra field yourself in English and Chinese - for example School, Class or Allergy.
- Your wording appears everywhere. The extra field shows up when you add or edit a family member, as a column in the family member list, in the customer's own account and in forms that collect family member details, always with the label you chose.
- Reserve at the kiosk. A new Allow reservations setting lets customers book an upcoming class at the check-in kiosk. Choose None, Valid pass only, or All - where a valid pass is used when there is one and the booking is otherwise marked unpaid. Before the booking is made, the kiosk confirms which of the two applies and shows any warnings; where a class cannot be reserved, the kiosk explains why.
- Opening the kiosk by scanning its QR code now skips straight past the scan option, and saving a family member no longer covers the screen with a loading overlay, so a failed save leaves you free to try again.
