Unread markers are now remembered on your account instead of on each device, so what you have already read stays read wherever you sign in.
- The unread counts for What's new and the activity log are worked out from what your account has actually opened, so they no longer differ between your phone, tablet and computer.
- The assistant's product announcement card is marked as read when you dismiss it or act on it, and it will not come back on another device once you have done so.
- The announcement card is only shown on app versions that can display and dismiss it, so it no longer appears in a form you cannot clear.
- Marking these items as read no longer counts as a change to your profile.
- New accounts start with a clean slate rather than a backlog of unread markers.
