Give customers the option to split a one-off purchase into 3, 6 or 12 monthly card installments.
- Enable it. In Online payment → Payment Options, open ECPay or NewebPay, turn on Allow installments, then save. Activate installments with your payment provider first.
- Let the customer choose. For ECPay, the customer chooses Full payment or Installments in OB checkout. For NewebPay, the customer continues to NewebPay and makes that choice on its payment page.
- Choose the term and pay. On the provider's secure payment page, the customer selects an available term and completes payment. The available terms depend on their card.
The video shows ECPay first, then NewebPay, using sandbox payments. The hosted provider screens are in Chinese.
Installments apply to one-off purchases in NT$, including passes. They are not available for subscriptions or ATM transfers.
