Customers paying in TWD can now pay by ATM transfer to a virtual account through NewebPay, and ATM payments through NewebPay or ECPay are confirmed automatically when the money arrives.
- Turn on the new NewebPay ATM switch in your NewebPay online payment settings to offer it at checkout.
- Customers see NewebPay ATM as a payment choice for orders from 1 to 49,999 TWD. The existing ECPay option is now called ECPay ATM, so the two are easy to tell apart.
- After checkout, customers see the bank code, the virtual account number and the payment deadline, shown in your date and time format.
- Until the money arrives, the order shows as Awaiting transfer and is marked Unpaid, with a reminder to transfer the exact amount before the deadline.
- Unpaid ATM transfers wait until the deadline and confirm themselves when the payment comes in, so you do not need to check each one.
- Also: business hours on your booking app now follow your 12-hour or 24-hour time choice, and pass prices show their billing period in Chinese when customers choose Chinese.
