Card payments through ECPay now tell customers clearly whether their card went through, so they are no longer left waiting on a processing screen.
- A customer's first ECPay card purchase uses a temporary TWD 10 hold to check the card.
- If the bank asks the customer to verify the payment, checkout stays open after they continue to their bank and shows "Waiting for your bank to confirm the card..." until the bank answers.
- If the card is declined, including after the bank's verification step, the customer sees the reason in checkout and can try another card.
- If a subscription fills up during payment, the customer is told it is full and that their order was not charged.
- If a payment cannot be confirmed, the customer is asked to check their order before paying again, so they are not charged twice.
