Automatic customer access locking has grown from a single no-show counter into a full booking-policy tool. Everything is configured under Settings → Customer → Lock customer access.
- Penalty cancellations can now count towards a lock. A new toggle adds late cancellations (cancellations made after your deadline, recorded with a penalty) to the policy — and you can limit the counting to specific passes, so only the memberships that need cancellation discipline are affected.
- Choose your counting period. Keep the classic rolling window (the last 7–365 days) or switch to calendar month, where the counter resets on the 1st — perfect for policies phrased as "three no-shows in a month".
- Combined or separate limits. When both no-shows and penalty cancellations are counted, add them together against one shared limit, or give each its own limit where reaching either locks the account.
- Fairer counting. Incidents that trigger a lock are marked as used, so the same no-show is never counted twice after an unlock, and no-shows are only counted 30 minutes after class ends so instructors have time to update attendance.
Existing businesses keep their exact current behaviour — nothing changes until you open the settings and turn on the new options. Every change to these settings is recorded in the activity log.
