If your studio uses the ECPay switch to charge new subscriptions with a card the customer agrees to save at their first payment, renewals are now charged for you. More booking screens also follow your customers' chosen language.
- Turn on the ECPay switch so new subscriptions use a card the customer agrees to save securely at their first payment.
- Each renewal is charged to the saved card on the morning it is due. The customer gets a new pass for the next period at the price of their first purchase.
- Renewals stay on the same day each month or year. In shorter months they fall on the last day, so a subscription that started on 31 January renews on 28 February.
- You and your customer are told about each renewal payment. If you have them set up, receipts and ECPay e-invoices are created as usual.
- If a card is declined, it is tried again the next day, up to 3 times for each renewal, and the customer is emailed each time. After the third decline, or if the card can no longer be used, the subscription is marked as failed and is not charged again.
- A subscription with a set number of payments stops after the last one, and the first payment counts toward that number. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals. If a payment was already going through, the customer still gets that pass and the subscription stays cancelled.
- Booking times, class lengths and titles now show in your customers' chosen language.
