The admin assistant is now much better at handling bookings made for a family member on a customer's account.
- See one family member's bookings. Ask for a chosen family member and the assistant lists their bookings and waiting-list places, with the session time, class or service and status. You can narrow it to active, cancelled or waiting-list only, or to a date range. Previously the assistant had to read through class registers and could wrongly say that family members are not linked to bookings at all.
- Change who a booking is for, without cancelling it. The assistant can now switch an existing booking to a different family member, or remove the family member, while keeping the same booking, session, pass, payment and booking time. Nothing is cancelled and no cancellation notice is sent to the customer, so parents are no longer alarmed by a cancellation message. The assistant asks you to confirm before making the change, and it is only available to staff who can edit the calendar.
- Give a class package that skips sessions already under way. When you give a customer a class package part-way through a term, you can ask for upcoming sessions only, and the assistant books just the sessions that have not started. You no longer need to temporarily change the package's number of visits and schedule and then put them back.
