Pass Terms and Conditions allows you to create waivers that customers must sign when purchasing specific passes. Unlike the general Terms and Conditions, you can create different waivers for different passes, allowing for customized agreements based on the type of membership or service package.

What is Pass Terms and Conditions?

Pass Terms and Conditions is a custom feature that displays a waiver when customers purchase specific passes. This waiver appears during checkout or automatically when an admin assigns a pass to a customer.

Key characteristics:

  • Triggered when purchasing a pass (during checkout)
  • Can create multiple different waivers for different passes
  • Each waiver can be linked to one or more passes
  • Appears automatically if admin assigns a pass to a customer
  • Supports version control for each waiver

When customers see the waiver:

  • During checkout when purchasing a linked pass
  • Automatically after an admin assigns them a pass with a waiver
  • Can appear at any time if they need to sign a pending waiver

The Settings tab provides global configuration options for all pass waivers:

Signature Required

When enabled, customers must digitally sign the waiver by drawing their signature on the screen, rather than just clicking "Agree".

Reset on Update

When enabled, updating any pass waiver content will require customers with that pass to sign the new version.

Reset Button

Manually reset all customers who haven't accepted the current version of their pass waivers. They will be prompted to sign again.

FAQ

Q: Do customers need to sign a waiver for passes issued from the backend?

A: Yes. Whether the customer purchases the pass themselves or it's assigned by an admin from the backend, they still need to sign the waiver.

Q: I've already sold some passes but created the pass waiver later. Do customers need to sign retroactively?

A: If the pass has already expired, customers don't need to sign the waiver. But if the pass is still valid (even if fully used), customers will need to sign the waiver.

Q: Can I have different waivers for different passes?

A: Yes! This is the main benefit of Pass Terms and Conditions. You can create separate waivers for different types of memberships or packages, each with their own terms.
