Class Settings - Edit a Class

Important Information

This section contains the essential details about your class that customers will see.

• Name - The class name displayed to customers. Use the language selector to enter names in English and Chinese.
• Category - Assign the class to a category for organization and filtering.
• Class Language - Set the primary language for this class (affects which customers see it based on their language preference).
• Class Size - Maximum number of participants allowed in the class.
• Class Duration - How long the class runs (hours and minutes).

Settings

Control booking behavior and visibility for this class.

• Activate Pass Required - When enabled, customers must have an active pass to make a reservation. Recommended for membership-based businesses.
• Hide from Customers - Calendar - Hides the class from the customer calendar view. Use this for internal classes or classes only bookable by admin.
• Hide from Customers - List - Hides the class from the customer class list. Customers won't see this class when browsing.
• One Reservation per Day - Limits customers to only one reservation for this class per day. Useful for preventing double-booking.

Reservation Cancellation

Configure how customers can cancel their reservations for this class.

Standard Cancellation

• Use business reservation setting - Toggle off to customize settings for this class only.
• Reservation cancellation - Allow or prevent customers from cancelling their reservation. Set the time limit (e.g., "24 hours before class").

Cancellation Penalty

• Use business reservation setting - Toggle off to customize penalty settings.
• Cancellation penalty - When standard cancellation is not available, apply a penalty (e.g., deduct points or charge a fee).

Configure these settings based on your cancellation policy to protect against last-minute cancellations.

Class Room

Assign a physical room or studio where this class takes place.

• Select a class room from the dropdown to assign it to this class.
• The class room will be automatically assigned to calendar entries when scheduled.
• You can change the class room for individual calendar entries from the calendar page.
• Updating the class room here will also update all future repeating classes or courses.

Class rooms help customers know where to go for their class and help with internal scheduling.

Accepted Passes

Define which passes can be used to book this class.

• Click Add to link passes that customers can use for this class.
• Only customers with the linked passes can book this class (when "Activate Pass Required" is enabled).
• You can link multiple passes to one class.
• Archived passes will show the "ARCHIVED" label.

This is essential for businesses that offer different membership tiers or class packages.

Description, Cover Photo, Video & YouTube

Add rich content to showcase your class to customers.

Description

• Use the rich text editor to describe what customers can expect from the class.
• Format text with bold, italic, headings, lists, and colors.
• Add images and links to enhance the description.
• Use the AI button to help generate content.
• Switch languages to enter descriptions in English and Chinese.

Cover Photo

• Upload multiple images to represent the class.
• Recommended dimensions: 1000px x 600px.
• Drag and drop or browse to upload.

Video & YouTube

• Upload a video file directly or paste a YouTube link.
• Great for showing class previews or instructor introductions.

Tags

Add tags to help organize and filter your classes.

• Tags provide additional categorization beyond categories.
• Select from existing tags or create new ones.
• Tags can be used for internal organization or customer filtering.

Advanced Settings

Additional settings for special class configurations.

Class Points

• Set how many points this class costs from a point-based pass.
• Changes apply to future classes without customers. Classes with customers must be changed individually.

Waiting List

• Enable a waiting list when the class is full.
• Customers can join the waitlist and be automatically notified when a spot opens.

Online Class

• Mark this class as an online/virtual class.
• Enable this for Zoom or other online teaching integrations.

Location

• Assign the class to a specific business location.
• Important for businesses with multiple locations.

Archive & Delete

• Archive a class to hide it without deleting.
• Delete permanently removes the class (use with caution).
