Before submitting a feature request, watch this short video to understand the process and get tips for writing effective requests:
What's the difference between paid and unpaid feature requests?
When submitting a feature request, you can choose between two options:
Paid Feature Request:
- Custom development specifically for your business
- Guaranteed development with a timeline
- Feature built to your exact specifications
- Pricing available in the Shop (go to Shop in admin menu)
- Requires approval from our team before starting
Unpaid Feature Request (Free Suggestion):
- Added to our community feature request list
- Other studios can vote and show interest
- Features with high demand get prioritized on our roadmap
- No guaranteed timeline - depends on community interest and our development schedule
- Great for ideas that would benefit many users
How do I submit a feature request?
Follow these steps to submit a new feature request:
- Go to Bugs / New Features in the admin menu (under General)
- Click the New Features tab
- Click the + NEW button
- Fill in the Important Information:
- Enter a clear, descriptive Name for your feature
- Toggle Paid feature? if you want custom development
- Click Description to add detailed information about what you need
- Click Save to submit your request
Tip: The more detail you provide, the better we can understand and evaluate your request.
How do I check pricing for paid features?
To view pricing for custom feature development:
- Go to Shop in the admin menu
- Browse available development packages and pricing
- Prices vary based on complexity and scope of the feature
Note: Paid feature requests require approval from our team. After you submit your request, we'll review it and provide a quote based on your specific requirements.
How do unpaid feature requests get prioritized?
Unpaid feature requests are prioritized based on community interest:
- Voting: Other studios can like and vote for features they also want
- Demand: Features with more votes and interest get higher priority
- Roadmap: Popular features are added to our development roadmap
- Updates: You can check the "What's New" tab to see recently released features
To increase the chances of your feature being developed:
- Write a clear, compelling description of the problem it solves
- Explain how it would benefit other businesses, not just yours
- Share your request with other studio owners who might also want it
Tips for writing a good feature request
Help us understand your needs by including:
- The problem: What challenge are you trying to solve?
- The solution: How do you envision the feature working?
- The benefit: How will this improve your business operations?
- Examples: Provide specific scenarios or use cases
- Priority: Is this a nice-to-have or a critical need?
Good example: "I need a way to automatically notify waitlisted customers when a spot opens up in a class. Currently I have to manually check and message each person, which takes 30 minutes per day."
Poor example: "Please add waitlist notifications."
The more context you provide, the faster we can evaluate and respond to your request.
