How to distinguish between major and minor versions?
Any account type can view the major and minor versions by navigating to the bottom of the left-hand menu and selecting the appropriate option.
App Major Version - Update Procedure
When a major version update is required, a prompt to update immediately will appear in the top right corner. Clicking "Update Now" will redirect you to the Google Play Store or App Store for download.

App Minor Version - Update Procedure
If there is a minor version available for update, it will be downloaded when you first open the app. When you open the app for the second time (after completely closing and reopening the app), you will be able to access the latest version's features.
Setting up Automatic App Updates (Recommended)
Android System
Search for "Omcean Booking" in the Google Play Store. Then, navigate to the upper right corner of the app information page and enable automatic updates for the Omcean Booking app.
iOS System
From the settings of the App Store, open "Automatic Downloads" and ensure that "App Updates" is enabled to allow for automatic updates of apps.
Differences in Updates Between the App and the Website
Difference between App and Web Updates
Bug fixes for the OB Booking system on the web version are immediate after completion (most bugs are usually fixed within a week). However, bug fixes for the app may take longer. This is because app fixes require approval from the App Store and Google Play before being released, which can take two weeks to a month.
During the waiting period for app approval updates, if classroom operations or student reservations are affected, please use the web version. Once the app approval is complete, you will be notified immediately.
Please note: Due to various factors, the reservation system cannot force any user to update. For example, if an app user's telecommunications transmission has a data limit, forcing an update would consume their data. However, for significant updates, users will be required to update before using the app.
